Reconstruction of Trap Stations at the Kladanj - Sarajevo and Semizovac - Zenica High-Pressure Gas Pipelines

As the equipment is old (more than 25 years) and worn out, natural gas leaks when operating in the trap stations so that the maintenance workers are exposed to danger.

Reconstruction of the trap stations commenced therefore in 2007 that included replacement of all trap closures and valves.

New trap closures were bought from „HidroTermo centar“ d.o.o. of Sarajevo.

In April and May 2007, the maintenance workers of BH-GAS-a replaced the trap closures at the traps (Podpaklenik, Butila, Semizovac and Zenica) while procurement of other valves necessary for reconstruction is underway.
