The introduction of natural gas as a new energy form would create the conditions for further market expansion. Stress is placed on exploring the possibilities of applying new technologies (combined heat and power (CHP) generation) and on natural gas applications (for cooling, hot-water preparation, natural gas in transportation applications) in order to reach the consumption of annual volumes as evenly as possible.

Gasification of the city of Orašje would be realized by connecting to the gas system of the Republic of Croatia.
