BH-Gas of Sarajevo, a limited liability company dealing with gas production and transmission, was set up on September 30, 1997 and started its business activities as of January 1, 1998. The founder of BH-Gas is the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The managing bodies of BH-Gas comprise the Managing Board made up of five members and the Managing Director.

The core lines of business of the Company are:

  - Importation of natural gas into B&H
  - Transportation of natural gas across B&H
  - Natural gas sales to large customers
  - Research and development of high-pressure gas pipelines

BH-Gas employs 38 people, mainly young highly educated personal able to manage a business and to fulfill its obligations in the best possible way. Of the total number of employees, 55% got university degree.
