SIGNED THE PRE-INVESTMENT CONTRACTS WITH BH TELECOM

BH-Gas and BH Telecom concluded the pre-investment contracts, which define their joint activities in ducting the optical fiber cables through the PEHD pipes, whose routes were designed together with the gas pipeline, as the part of the transport gas pipeline Zenica-Travnik and Tržac–Bosanska Krupa construction, with the branches for Bihać and Velika Kladuša.
The contracts were signed by Mr. Almir Bečarević, General Manager of BH-Gas, Mr. Nedžad Rešidbegović, General Manager of BH Telecom, Mrs. Nadžida Ninković, Executive Manager of BH-Gas, and Mr. Nedim Džaferović, Manager of BH-Line. These contracts represent the continued activities started by signing the Collaboration Protocol 31 July 2008.

These pre-investment contracts are related to the routs design phase and the activities on the above mentioned gas pipelines construction, as well as the fibers exploitation manner, i.e. the consumption of the certain optical fiber cable capacities for the transport system management and control by BH Gas.

These contracts will meet the needs of both companies, since the BH-Gas is interested in using certain amount of the optical fiber cable transmission capacity for the needs of the natural gas supply system management and control, after putting the gas pipeline into operation.
BH Telecom is interested in placing the PEHD pipes through which the optical fiber cable is ducted during the construction of the Zenica-Travnik, Tržac-Bosanska Krupa transport gas pipelines, with branches for Bihać and Velika Kladuša.

This idea, besides the above mentioned interests, represents the best possible solution for the infrastructure projects realisation, considering the existing environmental conditions of the urban centers in BiH.

GASIFICATION OF UNA SANA CANTON

At the Assembly of Una-Sana Canton, which was held on 4 August 2009,  was examined and unanimously adopted the Investment Analysis of the Una-Sana Canton, financed by the company BH-Gas with support of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry. The municipal councils of the six municipalities had previously provided their agreements, except Sanski Most and Cazin, which should also provide their respective agreements to the Analysis during the incoming period.

The Assembly was attended by Mr. Almir Bečarević,  General Manager of the company BH-Gas, who has presented the Analysis, provided necessary information and answered the Analysis-related questions.

For this project, BH-Gas has provided 2,4 million KM for the project documentation, environmental analysis, and feasibility study. The construction would be divided into three phases. The first phase would involve the primary gas pipeline construction, whose total lenght is 80 km, to Bosanska Krupa with branches for Velika Kladuša and Bihać.

As the precondition for this project realisation, the Croatian company Plinacro should construct the gas pipeline, with the length of 30 km, to Tržački Rašteli,  which the Croatian side had previously agreed on. After BH-Gas signs the contract with Plinacro, the Una-Sana Canton Government should invite to tendering for concessions awarding.

The adoption of this Analysis represents the finalisation of the previous activities between Una-Sana Canton and BH-Gas, by which the conditions are acquired for BH-Gas to continue its preparation of the investment-technical documentation at the detail design level, as the next step for the realisation of Una-Sana gasification project.
